In self-cleaning separators, the separated solid is discharged by centrifugal force during operation. This allows a continuous production process, since the machine does not have to be stopped for emptying. Our self-cleaning separators are suitable for the filtration of wine, beer and fruit juice. Nikema offers used self-cleaning separators mainly from GEA Westfalia Separator but also from, Alfa Laval, Flottweg and Imma.

For the special requirements of this industry, we also provide filters and separators in "pharmaceutical execution" made of high quality stainless steel V4A / 1.4501 / SS316, with ground welds of plates and frames as well as gaskets whose materials meet the corresponding process requirements.
